Times Up!

The official application process for the Winter 2011 round of Project: Bridging the Wellness Gap is now closed. If for any reason you were not able to get your application emailed in time, let me know and I will consider your application as an "alternate" spot - meaning that if any of those selected from the current group of applicants cannot participate, you may be eligible to fill the opening.

To those who have applied, you will be hearing from me at some point between now and Sunday - so please stand by! If you have not heard from me by Sunday afternoon, please email me: chris@prfitness.net.

I'm looking forward to spending the next couple of days reviewing all the applications that have been sent in. While I have not read them in their entirety, from a quick overview, I know we have some FANTASTIC potential New Recruits and... we have some veteran BTWG'ers looking for a tune up and another round of BTWG. To me, this speaks volumes about the program, the fact that so many have applied and the fact that so many BTWG grads know the value of the program and believe in it so much that they once again want to be a part of the action.

Now, off to do some reading...

Be Well,
Chris

Tick Tock...

The deadline for applying for Project: Bridging the Wellness Gap is midnight tomorrow! If you are on the fence, now is the time to jump. Email your application today and embrace the life you deserve to live. Or, go ahead and procrastinate another 48 hours, let the deadline pass and take a sigh of relief knowing that you have an excuse to not make a life change and to stay in your comfort zone. It's a choice and if you are not ready to pull the trigger and submit your application, you are not ready for the BTWG program. If you are ready, then get crackin' on that essay and send it in before midnight tomorrow. www.BridgingTheWellnessGap.com. Click on "how to join", follow the instructions, and get to typing your essay. What are you waiting for?

BTWG Returning

That's right, boys and girls - Project: Bridging the Wellness Gap is coming off hiatus for Winter 2011. The updated and upgraded Project will be even better than before, yet it will retain it's essence that makes BTWG so unique, special and effective. Details coming in November. The application process will begin in December and the next round of Project Recruits will begin in January.

Project Grads who wish to participate in the Winter '11 Project will have priority in the selection process. So, if you are in need of a "tune up" or just flat out need to start over, here is your chance.

Check back for details in a couple weeks as well as important dates!

Until then, stay tuned to the PR Fitness web site, blog, Facebook page, and Twitter!

Be Well,
Chris

Update...

I have had several requests about the state of "Bridging the Wellness Gap" and if/when there will be another round of the "Project". The answer is, "yes", there will be more BTWG's in the future, it's just on hiatus for a while. For now, my focus and energy needs to be prioritized on our new business, PR Fitness, and the Indy Mini Marathon training group - these projects along with my full time work and family obligations keeps me plenty busy. While I had intended on doing a Winter '10 class, I realized that it simply would not be fair to the participants if I were to do so, as I know I would not be able to give it my full attention, which it requires and deserves.

I envision the return of BTWG in the Fall of this year, and I would also envision the facilities at PR Fitness as our home base - where we will do the fitness testing, hold our group meetings, perform group workouts and more. If you haven't been out to visit us yet, you really should do yourself a favor and make the trek out to Brownsburg. Many of our BTWG Grads are joining us each week, getting fit, and having a great time. Your first workout is free!

In the meantime, I would encourage you to continue to visit the PR Fitness web site where I post several workouts each week that you can do on you own, or join us for a class or private coaching. Also, I just launched the PR Fitness blog, which is where I will continue to post items of interest, announcements and more.

I trust that you will stay in touch and connected to our wonderful group of friends and community that we have built over the past 2 years.

Cityoga and Snow

Hey Gang,

I just talked with Mysh, from Cityoga, and she said they will announce any class closings on their voicemail. So, before you head down for class tomorrow, be sure to call and listen for any class cancellations.

Hope we are able to practice together, yet, if the snow comes as they are predicting, let's all stay home and practice. Cool?

Peace,
Chris
